In the Kharkiv region, violators were discovered, causing approximately 293 thousand UAH in damages to the fishery.
As reported by "Dumka," this information comes from the Kharkiv Fish Protection Patrol.
According to the patrol, on November 29, around five in the morning, two men were caught "in the act" at the Shyroka Balka pond near the Krasnopavlivske reservoir in the Lozova district while fishing from a rubber boat using prohibited fishing gear for amateur fishing - specifically, 12 nets made of monofilament.
As a result, the fishermen caught one silver crucian carp, 26 common carps, 21 pike perches, six perch, three breams, and one grass carp.
The total weight of the illegally caught aquatic biological resources amounted to 67 kg. Protocols have been drawn up against the poachers under part 4 of Article 85 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
The damage inflicted on Ukraine's fishery amounts to 292,519 UAH.
The Kharkiv Fish Protection Patrol urges citizens to comply with the requirements of the current environmental legislation.
