In Kharkiv region, an Opel driver was involved in a car crash, with a child among the injured.

A traffic accident occurred in the Kharkiv region, resulting in injuries to a child.

This information was reported by the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the police, the incident took place on February 22 at around 6:00 PM at the entrance to the village of Slobozhanske in the Berestivskyi district. The driver of an Opel Vectra lost control, veered off the road into a ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The driver's wife and son sustained injuries. The five-year-old boy and his mother have been hospitalized.

A criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles by persons managing transport). The penalty for this article includes a restriction of freedom for up to three years, along with a ban on driving for a similar period.
