In the Kharkiv region, the Russian army ignited 8 fires in just one week. Here are the details.

Last week, the State Emergency Service units were involved in extinguishing 8 fires caused by enemy shelling.

As reported by "Dumka", this was stated during a briefing by Artem Astakhov, the head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

According to him, at the sites of Russian shelling, rescuers provided assistance to four injured individuals.

Additionally, the emergency service personnel were called three times to extinguish fires caused by careless handling of fire and electrical appliances.

"On the highway 'Kharkiv - Simferopol', a fire broke out in a stationary trailer, resulting in a 53-year-old man suffering burns to his lower and upper limbs and being hospitalized," Astakhov said.

In the village of Dokuchaevske, careless use of stove heating caused a fire in a private residential house, affecting an area of 200 square meters.

In the village of Pesochin in the Kharkiv district, a private house caught fire due to a short circuit in the electrical network, covering an area of 100 square meters, and a man died in the blaze.
