The prosecutor's office is identifying the type of "Lightning" missile that struck Kharkiv on January 21.

Currently, a type of Russian UAV "Lightning" is being installed in Kharkiv, which the occupiers used to strike the Ukrainian city.

This was reported to the publication "Dumka" by Dmitry Chubenko, spokesperson for the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office.

"At 11:00, the Russians attacked the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv. An impact occurred on the ground near a garage. As a result of the explosion, the garage itself, a private vehicle, and windows in several apartments were damaged. There were no injuries at the scene," he noted.

According to Chubenko, the enemy used the UAV "Lightning" for the attack, with a specific type currently being identified. These could include models such as "Lightning-1" or "Lightning-2," which differ not in their warhead but in their tactical and technical specifications and the presence of one or two engines. Thus, they do not differ in explosive power, only in the number of engines. A criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding the fact of a war crime.

Recall that on January 21, the Russian UAV "Lightning" struck the Shevchenkivskyi district. The strike hit an area of dense residential development, damaging a garage, a vehicle, and shattering windows.
