In Kharkiv, medical professionals assisted a woman in giving birth right inside an ambulance.
This was reported by the KNP KHO "Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine," as conveyed by "Dumka."
According to medical staff, a baby boy was born yesterday, December 28, directly in the ambulance. Calls to the emergency line 103 were received around 10:13.
"The baby didn't wait for the maternity hospital and made his entrance into the world while en route to the hospital. The medical team successfully delivered the baby right in the ambulance," the report states.
The delivery was handled by team No. 2007, which included paramedic Oleksandr Fomenko and emergency medical technician Volodymyr Sydorov. The newborn boy weighs 2600 grams and measures 53 cm in length. He scored 8-9 on the Apgar scale, indicating good health.
