A man was arrested in Kharkiv who nearly took the life of an acquaintance.

This was reported by the communications department of the Main Police Department of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to police information, on November 22, medical personnel informed the police that a victim with stab and cutting injuries had been admitted to the hospital.

Investigators determined that the 43-year-old man sustained his injuries from a 54-year-old acquaintance during an argument. The victim was hospitalized.

The perpetrator has been notified of the suspicion of committing a crime. He has been placed under house arrest as a preventive measure.
