In Kharkiv, a domestic abuser has been punished.

The police in Kharkiv have held a man accountable for committing domestic violence against his wife.

This was reported by the communications department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to law enforcement, on February 28, a report was received at the Kharkiv District Police Department No. 3 stating that a man, under the influence of alcohol, threatened his wife with physical harm and used obscene language in their apartment on Architect Street.

Officers from the domestic violence prevention sector arrived at the scene and resolved the conflict between the spouses.

Regarding the 47-year-old offender, the police drew up an administrative protocol and warned him about criminal liability in case of repeated domestic violence.
