Yesterday afternoon, February 24, in the Slobidsky district of Kharkiv, patrol officers stopped a driver for a document check.
This was reported by the Patrol Police of the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the patrol police, while checking the documents, the law enforcement officers discovered that the man was wanted under Article 210 (Violation of the legislation on military duty and military service by conscripts or reservists) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. He was warned about the necessity of being taken to the City Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, to which he agreed.
However, during the interaction with the driver, a crowd gathered at the scene. The man resisted, grabbing the officers' clothing and shouting about police misconduct.
"To restore public order, the inspectors used tear gas. However, taking advantage of the situation, the wanted man escaped. His search is currently ongoing," the report states.
