In Kharkiv, a drunken "Santa" crashed into a sedan.

Yesterday, February 27, around 6:00 PM, Kharkiv patrol officers received a call about a traffic accident.

This information was reported by the Patrol Police of the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the patrol officers, on Victory Avenue, the driver of a Toyota vehicle collided with another car.

While interacting with the driver at fault, the patrol officers noticed signs of alcohol intoxication. The driver agreed to undergo a sobriety test.

The breathalyzer indicated - 1.45 promille, which is over 7 times the permissible limit.

The patrol officers removed the driver from operating the vehicle and drew up administrative protocols against him under Article 124 (Traffic rule violation resulting in an accident) and part 1 of Article 130 (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated) of the Administrative Offenses Code.

Subsequently, the administrative materials will be forwarded to court.
